Disney Dreamlight Valley has put out a new teaser for its next Star Path, the game”s name for seasonal progression-based rewards events that are usually centered around a specific Disney animated character or movie. While the teaser is pretty cryptic, consisting of just three clues made up of a total of six emojis, fans are already making some pretty solid-sounding guesses about Disney Dreamlight Valley”s next big star.
The most recently released Star Path, the Majesty and Magnolias Star Path, centered around Mulan and Mushu from the animated film version of Mulan from 1998. Just like the upcoming release, Majesty and Magnolias” featured characters had received their own cryptic pre-release teaser, though fans were able to successfully assess the clues pretty quickly.

This time around, the game”s official Twitter account made a post on August 8 including three clues of paired emojis: a flame and a fly, a feather and a scarf, and a water droplet and a Tokyo Tower. While that specific tower could throw some for a loop, fans have almost unanimously guessed that these clues point to Tiana from The Princess and the Frog getting her own Star Path, with the clues symbolizing her firefly friend Ray, a feather boa reminiscent of the movie”s 1920s New Orleans setting, and a water tower.
Disney Dreamlight Valley May Be Getting A Princess and the Frog Star Path
The Tiana theory based on the post seems pretty solid, but in fact, a recent Disney Dreamlight Valley Roadmap Reveal has already heralded her arrival later this month. That reveal, which was released on August 6 on the game”s official website and lays out the plans for the rest of the 2024 schedule, already announced a new Star Path for Tiana coming in a free August 2024 update, along with the final installment of the A Rift in Time paid DLC. Other free changes coming later this year will include adventures with Timon and Pumbaa in the Lion King realm, which is scheduled for October, and a new mystery that seems to involve sewing and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, which will be released near the end of the year. Additionally, publisher/developer Gameloft is planning a streaming event for later this year to let fans in on what to expect from the game in 2025.Close
Even if the previously announced news spoiled the mystery of the encrypted message, fans of the game still have more to look forward to. In addition to new characters and adventures revealed in the roadmap, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will be getting a decoration upgrade, planned to give players more space and freedom for decorating their Valleys, though a specific date for that update has not been named.
