Dead Island 2 Teases New Content

After teasing fans with a return to Hell-A, a short video compiles the many comments from Dead Island 2 fans begging for more content. The video then ends with the words, “Back to Hell-A” before telling fans to stay tuned. Many of the responses were filled with sheer excitement, while some fans began theorizing on what new content could be added to the game. From a new game plus mode to a whole new DLC expansion, Dead Island 2 fans aren”t quite sure what Dambuster has in store, but they”re excited nevertheless.

Dead Island 2”s Haus DLC added new weapons, a new location, and a sinister storyline that sees players encounter a secret billionaire with a techno death cult. The expansion received largely positive reviews when it was released in October of 2023, but its follow-up DLC, known as Sola, wasn”t as well received. The game”s community critiqued Sola”s final boss fight and the DLC”s performance issues on PC, giving it a “mostly negative” review badge on Steam.Close

Dambuster has already gone on record to state that there will be no more DLC expansions following the release of Haus and Sola, but there are still plenty of possibilities for new post-DLC Dead Island 2 content. For now, fans will have to wait and see what the development studio has in store, but it”s looking like a big game update could be on the way.
