Previous Genshin Impact leaks about Natlan”s Reputation System confirmed that the region would debut a new tribe system. It was also revealed that each tribe would have its own Reputation location for players to claim their weekly Bounty rewards. Other rumors pointed to each tribe having a leader and a signature element and Saurian. Genshin Impact”s 5.0 Leaks Indicate HoYo is Sticking to Its Guns

Major leaks have come out about Genshin Impact”s Natlan update, which seem to suggest that one recent trend about the game”s regions is here to stay.

A new leak by prominent Genshin Impact community member HomDGCat revealed there are a total of six tribes living in Natlan. Their elements are Dendro, Hydro, Geo, Pyro, Anemo, and an unknown one. According to the leak, the latter three should arrive in Version 5.1, while the rest are confirmed for the next patch. Each tribe has a representative title and their Saurians have different special abilities for exploration. Earlier leaks of Genshin Impact”s Saurians detailed that these dragon creatures cannot explore different tribe territories other than their own, so this leaked content could potentially hint at future map expansions.

    • Saurian: Tatankasaurus.
    • This tribe is located near a volcano and its fertile soil produces most of Natlan”s fruits and vegetables. The warriors of the Collective of Plenty are valiant and are rumored to have bodies of steel.

It is unclear why there are no Electro or Cryo tribes, but the reasons for this decision may be uncovered once Genshin Impact”s 5.0 update officially drops in late August. The leak also shares that Xilonen, a confirmed Natlan Geo character, is a member of the same tribe as Kachina, which suggests that other future characters may have a Vision related to their tribe. Another interesting detail is the mention of a “liquid phlogiston” substance that Hydro Saurians can explore. This peculiar material may be the lava-like one that players saw in the official Saurians trailer from a few months ago.
