Recently, World of Warcraft released Phase 4 of Season of Discovery. As the first max-level update of the experimental servers, Season of Discovery is one of its biggest yet, featuring brand-new Runes, instanced raid versions of iconic World of Warcraft world bosses, and even the SoD-original Demon Fall Canyon dungeon.

World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery breaks new ground in Phase 4 by adding a completely new dungeon that has never been seen before.
However, World of Warcraft fans have now discovered a new quest that asks players to cooperate with a Priest of the opposite faction, allowing them to go where no character has gone before. According to Wowhead, who reported on the quest chain and findings from Elidius of the WoW Priest discord, players must create an Altruist Ward to heal a Priest of the opposite faction, which eventually lets them make a Diplomat Ring. When used alongside the ring of another Priest on the opposite side, the character can not only enter enemy capital cities, but accept a quest from the opposing faction”s Priest trainer.
Unlocking Server-Wide Priest Racials in WoW Classic Season of Discovery

- Reach level 60 on a Priest and acquire the Binding Heal Rune.
- Accept the Diplomatic Overtures quest from High Priestess Laurena in Stormwind for Alliance or Dietrich Praice in Orgrimmar for Horde.
- Gather the requested items to complete the quest and get the Altruist Ward.
- Use the ward to heal a Priest of the opposite faction at the Shrine of Cooperation in the Eastern Plaguelands, then accept the quest it offers afterward.
- Return to the quest giver and gather the following items to create the Diplomat Ring:

Blood of the Mountain - 3
Blue Sapphire

- Pair the ring with that of another priest of the opposite faction, allowing both to enter the opposite faction’s capital, and meet with the opposing faction’s quest giver.
- Guards won’t attack, but enemy players on PvP servers still can, so use caution while on these WoW Classic SoD realms.
- Slay Magister Kalendris in Dire Maul West, and return to the opposite faction’s quest giver once again.
- Visit the chapel near Karazhan to finish the questline.
This new questline is a first for World of Warcraft. While fans can play together across the faction line in modern World of Warcraft, and several quests and achievements require players to enter the opposite faction’s capital cities, this is the only time characters could do so without being attacked.
Completing this quest unlocks the ability to choose a second Priest racial ability from any other World of Warcraft Classic race for every other Priest on the server. Now that the method has been discovered, it won’t be long before this ability will be unlocked for every Priest in WoW Classic Season of Discovery.
