Concord developer Firewalk Studios has published a new trailer detailing some exclusive features for PC players. With Concord”s launch on PS5 and PC coming soon, these additional bells and whistles will likely be of use to players on the latter platform who are interested in the game.
Concord is a competitive 5v5 hero shooter debuting from PlayStation first-party team Firewalk Studios. The game was formally announced at the 2023 PlayStation Showcase via a CGI trailer and received a much more extensive look at gameplay during the May 2024 State of Play. However, Concord”s hero shooter trappings haven”t really moved the needle in terms of player interest, with many finding the game unoriginal and generic, especially when compared to established hero shooters like Valorant and Overwatch. Concord”s underwhelming player counts during its beta weekends further solidified this lack of interest.

Despite the lukewarm response, Firewalk has been consistently dropping news about the game leading up to its release, such as Concord”s post-launch content roadmap. Just days before Concord is available globally, Firewalk has revealed a host of exclusive PC features for the hero shooter in a new trailer. Aside from standard offerings like uncapped framerates, 4K visuals, and mouse and keyboard support, Concord will also bring Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.1 compatibility, super ultrawide 32:9 monitor support, and full DualSense controller integration, which means PC players won”t miss out on the PS5-specific adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

- Full DualSense controller integration with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
- Mouse and keyboard support
- Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.1 support

Concord”s list of PC features is quite robust, which should hopefully make for a smooth and satisfactory gameplay experience for players on the platform. Moreover, the Steam page for Concord also lists the minimum requirements to run the game on PC, with an Intel i7-7700K/AMD Ryzen 2700X, 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD RX 580 8GB needed at the very least. Maxing out Concord”s performance on PC will require an Intel i7-10700K/AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 16GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 4070Ti/AMD RX 7900 XT. Combined with Concord”s extensive accessibility options, there”s a lot of choice for PC players.Close
While Firewalk is clearly doing everything it can to generate hype for Concord as its release date inches closer, the studio”s efforts don”t seem to be making enough of an impact, unfortunately. So far, Concord has accrued positive reviews from early access players on Steam, but the issue lies in the fact that only 66 people have reviewed it at the time of writing, likely pointing to lackluster pre-order numbers. PS5 numbers may tell a different story, but there”s no way to know for certain until Concord launches on August 23.
